The NhÃ¡ÂºÂt LÃ¡Â»â¡ River is a river in ÃÂÃ¡Â»âng HÃ¡Â»âºi city, QuÃ¡ÂºÂ£ng BÃÂ¬nh Province, Vietnam. The NhÃ¡ÂºÂt LÃ¡Â»â¡ River is 152 km long, of which the KiÃ¡ÂºÂ¿n Giang River is 58 km in length, and the Long ÃÂÃ¡ÂºÂ¡i River is 77 km long. The river is formed by the confluence of the KiÃ¡ÂºÂ¿n Giang River in LÃ¡Â»â¡ ThÃ¡Â»Â§y District and the Long ÃÂÃ¡ÂºÂ¡i River in QuÃ¡ÂºÂ£ng Ninh District. The NhÃ¡ÂºÂt LÃ¡Â»â¡ River flows northeast (unlike most rivers in Vietnam, which run southeast) before emptying into the South China Sea. At the mouth of this river are several white fine sand beaches which are popular tourist attractions. In the history of Vietnam, this river was the site of several wars between the Kingdom of Champa with ÃÂÃ¡ÂºÂ¡i ViÃ¡Â»â¡t as well as internal ÃÂÃ¡ÂºÂ¡i ViÃ¡Â»â¡t factions, especially the TrÃ¡Â»â¹nhÃ¢â¬âNguyÃ¡Â»â¦n War.
