Thale Noi Non-hunting Area (à ¹â¬Ã ¸âà ¸â¢Ã ¸«à ¹â°Ã ¸²à ¸¡à ¸¥à ¹Ëà ¸²à ¸ªà ¸±à ¸â¢Ã ¸§à ¹Åà ¸âºÃ ¹Ëà ¸²à ¸âà ¸°à ¹â¬Ã ¸¥à ¸â¢Ã ¹â°Ã ¸Âà ¸¢) This is the first non-hunting area ever founded in Thailand. Interesting things at the Thale Noi Waterfowl Park are the Thale Noi Palace, sea of blooming lotus in the morning, flocks of waterfowls, the nesting and egg-laying grounds of waterfowls at Ao Mo and those at Khuan Thale Mong, Khuan Khi Sian Ranger Station, and the Sala Nang Riam viewpoint. Thale Noi lake is a unique bird breeding place, with over 180 species of birds listed. Phatthalung (Thai: à ¸žà ¸±à ¸âà ¸¥à ¸¸à ¸â¡) is one of the southern provinces (changwat) of Thailand. Neighboring provinces are (from north clockwise) Nakhon Si Thammarat, Songkhla, Satun and Trang. Phatthalung railway station. It can be accessed from Wat Khuha Sawan through Highway N-4047. There is a flight of stairs leading all the way up to the mountaintop where there is a Buddhist shrine overlooking the city of Phatthalung. The mountain is named after a hole near the top where people can see through it. Symbols The provincial seal shows the 177 meter high Phu Khao Ok Thalu mountain, the symbol of the province.
