Description
The National Stadium is a football arena located in Pragaââ¬â the eastern district of Warsaw, but still near the city center. The stadium's facade refers to the Polish national colors, resembling a waving Flag of Poland and it consists of white and red colors. The stadium has a capacity of 58,145 seats for spectators during football matches and up to 72,900 during concerts and other events which makes it the largest football arena in Poland. Its construction started in 2008 and finished in November 2011. The National Stadium hosted the opening match, the 2 group matches, the quarterfinal, and the semifinal of the UEFA Euro 2012, co-hosted by Poland and Ukraine.
