The Snapdragons (Antirrhinum) or Dragon flowers as they are also called in reference to the flowers' resemblance to the face of a dragon that opens and closes its mouth when laterally squeezed are perennial plants with a distribution in the western mediterranean region and specially in the Iberian Peninsula.
