Image shows senior hikers walking past eroded sand stone rock formation in a desert wash near Red Rock Canyon, Southern Nevada. These sand stones are fossilized desert dunes and are part of the Lower Jurassic geological formation called Aztec formation of 70 million year old desert sediments, Area is also called Kraft Mountain and is southeast of Red Rock Canyon and north of Las Vegas Nevada. The wash floor contains eroded limestone from higher elevations seen in the back ground.
