Description
The Tachina Fly (Cylindromyia rufipes) is a flower-visiting species while the larvae of most Tachina species are parasitic and host invaders at egg laying. This specimen rests on a Larger Bindweed Flower (Calystegia sepium) which is considered a weed much as it's attractive trumpet-shaped flowers are being deliberately grown in other species of Bindweed.
