Historical Aircraft / Mikael Carlson Bleriot XI #44034311
Description
The Blériot XI was one of the first aircraft used by the Swiss military aviation and was the first monoplane to be mass produced. It was the first airplane that crossed the English channel and to fly across the Alps and it made the first loop ever. A truly historical airplane that normally can only be seen in the museum. Here it we see it at the aviation show AIR 14 in Payerne, Switzerland, on the 30th of August 2014.
