Holly Bush #44959523
Description
This is an English Holly Bush, Ilex aquifolium. It is one of the most common of the more then 100 types of Holly bushes. In order for this bush to produce the bright red holly berries, you must plant a male and a female bush within 30 feet of each other. The holly berries are harmful to humans and, if eaten, will cause vomiting and diarrhea. Holly bushes do not lose their leaves in winter and will add bright color to your otherwise dormant winter garden. The holly bush is a traditional symbol of the winter holidays and branches can be harvested to add a natural festive flair to your holiday decorations.
