Coastal Tides Out #45448377
Description
Coast ââ¬â It used to be that most seaside holiday towns in the UK used to have one or more piers built out over the water. Many of these piers have gone into decay through the weather and a lack of sufficient maintenance. Other features are the sandy beaches that are usually overlooked by castles, churches and monuments. Mostly, the resorts are of architectural interest with many properties of Edwardian and Victorian vintage. Some of these resorts also boast cliff climbing railways and zoos. The British also have a love affair with the Beach Huts, on the waterââ¬â¢s edge, which offers them the opportunity to take shelter or refreshment. Add into this the sunrise, cliffs, harbours, bridges, mists and tides and you have the fantastic UK coastline.
