In the picturesque district of Moscow, on Yakimanka street in the shade of old trees nestled one of the most beautiful Churches of the Moscow Church of St. John Voinea temple erected in 1704-1713 years in memory of the battle of Poltava. The architecture of the building combines elements of the style of Moscow Baroque with the Ukrainian Baroque, and European influence, widespread in Russian architecture during the reign of Peter. The architect remains unknown.
