Description
In the heart of Genoa a view of the square named truogoli di Santa Brigida. In the middle of this little square (on the right side of the picture) enclosed by the houses and the alleys of Via Balbi and Via Prè there is ââ¬Åtruogoli di Santa Brigidaââ¬Â, the only survived Genoa's public wash house. Built in 1656 by the Balbi's family such wash houses reached celebrity during the 19th century being photographed by early photographers as a typical feature of the town.
