Obidos in Portugal. The town is surrounded by fortified walls still intact and in the interior, along the Via Direct, the main street, you follow a series of white houses with edges in green and blue. The flowers on the balconies give it a very distinctive to the village. The first queen of Portugal that had a dowry was Santa Isabella who visited it in 1282. The queen fell in love at first sight and the husband Dinis gave it immediately to the queen. Since then it was customary to give a dowry to the queens of Portugal this beautiful village.
