Lake Garda is the largest Italian lake, with an area of approximately 370 km². Link among three regions, Lombardy (Brescia), Veneto (province of Verona) and Trentino-Alto Adige (Trento), is placed in parallel with the Adige, which is divided by the massif of Monte Baldo. To the north is narrow funnel while to the south it widens, surrounded by moraine hills that make sweeter the landscape. The lake is a major tourist destination and is visited each year by millions of people. Photos of some small flowering plants.
