The Certosa di Pavia includes a monastery and a shrine. It is located in the municipality of the same name of the Certosa di Pavia, place near Piacenza. Built as a votive offering to the will of Gian Galeazzo Visconti, Duke of Milan, at the end of the fourteenth century, and completed almost two centuries later.
