He Charterhouse of Miraflores is a monastic complex that is located near the city of Burgos. It was founded in 1441 by King John II of Castile. The work was entrusted to Juan de Cologne. Pearl of the late Gothic, in this monastery is the church, with its wooden altarpiece polychromatic and the impressive complex of tombs, the work of Gil of Siloam: that of King John II of Castile and Isabella of Portugal, in the center the nave, star-shaped, and the infant Alfonso, in the side wall, both in alabaster.
