Agios Nicholaos, Fountoukli Royalty-Free Stock Photo

The Church of St. Nicholas Fundukley located at the foot of Mount Profitis Ilias, 2 km from the village Eleusa. It is considered a masterpiece of Byzantine architecture. This is very typical of the XIII century church with four conch, which preserved icons XV century. The church is very beautiful, both inside and outside, is well preserved. Across the road from it is a small source, decorated with mosaics depicting deer and olenihi. The source is considered one of the cleanest and most abundant in Rhodes.
