Pastoral splendor in the Swiss Alps #50490304
Description
Pictures like this make me wish I were a Swiss cow. All day long they get the most beautiful scenery. They eat the lush grass and colorful wild flowers that one day...could become mellow cheese and rich chocolate. To be a swiss cow is to be loved...by all! Cows graze on the slopes of First near Grindelwald, in the Bernese Oberland of the Swiss Alps of Switzerland. From this image one can see the peaks of the Wetterhorn, Eiger and the Gross Fiescherhorn. The views from the hiking trails of First offer spectacular scenes of high Alpine meadows surrounded by the magnificent Swiss Alps. First can be accessed by cable cars from Grindelwald below. You can have a cup of wonderful coffee at Bort before you take on the trails that take you to the lovely high alpine lake Bacalpsee, that is surrounded by the Waldspitz. While hiking on the trails of First, look around to see the peaks of the Shreckhorn, Eiger, Wetterhorn, Jungfrau and from certain angles you can see Kleine Scheidegg.
