Description
This antelope is separated from the similar Bontebok by it reddish brown coat and its rump which is not white. Also its white facial blaze is broken by a brownish band between the eyes. This Great Karoo park in South Africa has become a haven for this once threatened animal. It shares its habitat of rolling plains, ravines, craggy hills and wooded valleys with the Cape Mt. Zebra and many buck including Oryx, Springbok, Black Rhinos, Cheetahs etc on the hiking and 4 x 4 trails with attractive accommodation.
