Kiwi berries (Actinidia arguta) are also known as hardy kiwifruit, arctic kiwis, baby kiwis, dessert kiwis, grape kiwis, northern kiwis and cocktail kiwis. They resemble full-size kiwifruit in taste, shape and colour but are much smaller, about the size of a grape, and have edible, often green skin. Unlike kiwifruit, which must be grown in fairly warm climates such as those of New Zealand, Chile or Italy, kiwi berries can be grown in colder regions, too.
