The first seagoing vessel built in the shipyards of Gdansk after World War II, collier, steam-powered four-cylinder engine, now the ship - museum, one of the biggest tourist attractions in Gdansk. Sołdek is moored at the quayside Ołowianka island at the entrance to the headquarters of the National Maritime Museum. It belongs to the maritime museum complex, situated on both banks of the river Motława, in the heart of the old port of Gdansk.
