Old West: Stamp Mill And Ore Crusher For Gold Ore Editorial Photo

This stamp mill was on exhibition during the Flywheelers Annual Engine Show in Cottonwood, Arizona (USA) on March 20-21, 2015. Gold Ore is visible on the blue bucket on the left. Larger lumps are crushed in the crusher (background on left) before they are put into the stamp mill. The fine gold mud (in the basin at the front) has still to be put through fine strainers at the end of the process to get the gold grains. As can be seen the old Stamp Mill, built in the beginning of the last century was working fine. Details of this mill: 53016404 and 53011201
