Comedian Stephen Colbert enjoys himself as the interviewer of “In Conversation with Richard Gere,” which also had an audience participation, question-and-answer segment. The event was part of the 2015 Montclair Film Festival at the Wellmont Theater in Montclair, New Jersey, on May 2, 2015. Colbert, a Montclair resident, was well-known for his nightly satirical show, “The Colbert Report,” on the Comedy Central cable tv channel. He has been tapped to be the successor to David Letterman on the “Late Night” CBS Network talk show.
