American Military Graveyard Royalty-Free Stock Photography

The white marble crosses in rows at an American Cemetery in the French town of Romagne-sous-Montfaucon in the neighbourhood of Verdun. All crosses are equipped with a little french and american flag. Two of them have been visited by the next of kin and they've brought beautiful flowers. In the environs of Verdun has been battled violently during World War I (1914-1918).
