With three floors, three walls, trefoils, triangular windows, triangular gables and triangular rooms, a lodge was built just outside the town of Corby, England, by Thomas Tresham, a Catholic recusant, at the end of the sixteenth century and during the reign of Elizabeth I to express and affirm his religious belief in the Trinity or triune God.
