Description
It flies from the family drone masquerading as dangerous insects that can take care of myself ââ¬â wasps and bees. Adult flies feed on nectar of flowers, and their larvae, aphids, spider mites and eggs of some insects. It is believed that the name ââ¬Åhoverfliesââ¬Â given them the distinctive sound of wings produced during hovering in the air, something resembling the soft murmur of the water.
