Magnolia Versus Bees #55869949
Description
To pollinate the yellow female reproductive system of the magnolia grandiflora tree flower, honeybees must first remove the stalks (filaments) from the andreocium (male red section). As some stalks do not wish to be removed, it is very hard work and sometimes requires the efforts of 2 or 3 honeybees to get the job done.
