Kairouan (Arabic: çÃâÃâÊñÃËçÃâ ââ¬Å½ Al QairawÃÂn), also known as Kirwan or al-Qayrawan, is the capital of the Kairouan Governorate in Tunisia. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
