Nicaragua, department Nueva Segovia, Ocotal city: a group of boys, shoe shiners, have with their work deserved a shared meal. They are laughing to eat and most are sitting on their shoe box. They themselves are too poor to buy shoes and walk barefoot and are in fact street children without a home. Shoe Shining is a common Nicaraguan form of child labor.
