View of St. Brás Chapel, in Castelo Novo, Castelo Branco district, Portugal, at he foot of Gardunha Mounts. Built on a primitive chapel of the Temple, the shrine of S. Brás still bears the Templar symbol of the Order of Christ on the arch of the main door. The chapel is located where once existed Roman buildings. In a small stone of the building its possible to watch an inscription of the year 1576. Castelo Novo is one tf the Portuguese historic villages. This chapel is a Catholic monument.
