Description
Densus Christian Church, built in 13th century AD, with stone blocks taken from the Roman city Ulpia Traiana Sarmisegetusa, bricks and river rocks, wich give a bizare aspect. The church is dedicated to St. Nicholas. The foundations of church belonged to a much older building, a Roman villa rustica, a temple dedicated to the god of war Mars or maybe the mausoleum of the Roman general Longinus.
