The Stone Ravens (Corbii de piatra ) monastery and wooden church from Corbi, Arges county, Romania. #59195003
Description
The rupestral church Corbii de Piatra is known with good reason an enigma. Studies have shown that the painting from Corbi was made somewhere between 1290 to 1330. Carved in a rock wall at the foot of Muscelele Arges county in a region where ravens live in calcareous sandstone, cliffs with strange honey-colored forms are somehow creating an enigma that still has not been solved completely.
