Netherlands, North Holland province, city Haarlem: impression of a part of the conservation area, protected cityscape, and the street Spaarne with historic buildings on the river Spaarne on which a motor yacht is at anchor. The lady of the house, of the motorboat is cleaning during her vacation, wring out wiping cloths. Behind the ship there is the historic building of the Teyler Museum of Natural History. On the gable is a statue group [art, science and fame] of the sculptor Bart van Hove. The facade was built by the Viennese, Austrian architect C. Ulrich in a combination of neoclassical and neo-baroque styles. This structure is cultural heritage, a national monument, famous landmark and tourist attraction. The building is nominated for inclusion on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Urban Landscape of Haarlem.
