This is a Fall picture of two historic buildings located on the Mercer County Fairgrounds in Aledo, Illinois. The Pumpkin House on the left is an octagon shaped building constructed in 1880. On the right is the Floral Hall, an example of American Movement architecture, and built in 1882. The buildings were added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 2, 1997. This picture was taken on September 26, 2015.
