Stromatolites at Lake Thetis, a saline coastal lake in Cervantes, Western Australia. Stromatolite is a layered rock created by microbes called cyanobacteria and form colonies of sediment which reacts to calcium carbonate in the water to create limestone. This is a cluster of Stromatolites in the clear water with one isolated towards the foreground.
