Description
Santa Cruz Church was built in 1770 during the reign of King Taksin. This church is a symbol of Portuguese-Siamese relationship that date back to the 16th century. For Thai people, this church is also be called ââ¬ÅWat Kudichinââ¬Â or Kudichin Temple. Beside this Catholic church, there also Chinese Buddhist temple (Kuan In shrine), Thai temple (Wat Kanlayanamit) and Muslim masjid (Bang Luang). By the diversity of religion and beliefs, this area was also known for the area of 3 religions and 4 beliefs.
