Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge at Dusk #62041241
Description
On a beautiful Spring evening, shortly after the sun had set, the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge stands out against the soft colors of the twilight sky. The bridge, an incredible architectural and engineering feat, spans the Copper River between downtown Charleston and Mount Pleasant. With a main span of 1,546 feet (471m), it is the third longest cable-stayed bridge in the Western Hemisphere. It opened in 2005 and replaced two older bridges.
