Description
Nicaragua, Andris Tara village, on the border river Coco, Coco Rio in Spanish, between Nicaragua and Honduras is home to Miskito Indians. The villages are situated on the upper parts of the river in the mountains. The homes, villages, for these people are only to reach by boat, dugout canoe. These natives live on the Nicaraguan side of the river course. Fetching drinking water is the work of women. These women fetch water from a water pipe with water flowing from the mountains. A woman is filling a bucket, the other is waiting for her turn. In the depths typical Indian huts and a modern kitchen of corrugated iron.
