Nicaragua, village Amak: Mayangna Indian children [literally the sons of the sun] have done the laundry, the work of women and girls. They carry the wet laundry on washboards on their heads. They walk back home. They have wet hair, so they have washed themselves in the river, physical care. These Indians, indigenous people living on the river, Rio Bocay. The left girl walks by and looks straight into the camera. The other girl standing still and is shy laughing.
