Park Head Locks and Viaduct Dudley UK #65475672
Description
Park Head Viaduct is in Dudley, West Midlands, UK. The original was wooden, erected in 1850 to carry the Oxford, Worcester and Wolverhampton Railway over Park Head Locks on the Dudley Canal, near to the southern mouth of the Dudley Tunnel. The current brick viaduct was built in 1880 and it is believed that it encases the old wooden viaduct. It is now a listed structure, and will be refurbished for modern use when the Metro extension is constructed.
