Summer In Rio Has Crowded Beaches And Enhanced Policing Editorial Photo

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 13 February 2016: The summer in Rio de Janeiro holds the crowded beaches and there is reinforcement in policing across the edge of town. Some of the most crowded beaches are Ipanema, Arpoador and Leblon, in the south of the city. The site receives reinforcement in the police during Operation Summer which increases the effective police patrolling the waterfront.
