Description
Spain, Sevilla Province, Andalusia region, city Seville in the old town, is situated the Cathedral, the largest Gothic church in the world. This was built in the middle ages on the by the Christians demolished Mosque, which the Moors had previously built there. Of this Mosque is only the minaret spared and it is doing in this church today as a bell tower. La Giralda is a medieval Islamic artwork, Moorish Architectural style. The tower stands on the square, Plaza Virgen de los Reyes, where also an old lamppost stands with crucifix. The Cathedral and the Giralda are on the list of UNESCO world cultural heritage, world heritage site.
