Entrance gates at Natzwiller-Struthof concentration camp, France #69302395
Description
Tucked away up a remote road in the French Vosges mountains is the only concentration camp from WW2 in France. Built to house French nationals who would not toe the line during the occupation, mainly Resistance members, it has its own gallows! Inmates were forced to work in the local sand quarry, before returning to captivity through this heavily-guarded entrance.
