Dorothy Loudon prepares to sign autographs at the Wisdom Bridge Theatre in Chicago, Illinois, in 1979. In the smash musical 'Annie' she won the 1977 Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical for her portrayal of 'Miss Hannigan'. She appeared in tv, often in comic roles (The Garry Moore Show). She made numerous Broadway appearances and won a Drama Desk Award for The Fig Leaves are Falling. Loudon died in New York at 78 from cancer on November 15, 2003.
