Church of Kazan Mother of God in the city of Maloyaroslavets of the Kaluga region in Russia. A stone Cathedral was built in 1708 (1740s), in place of the ramshackle wooden St. George's Cathedral by Brigadier A. P. Radisheva, who later was buried in the South aisle. The majestic domed Cathedral with a lantern drum was built in a mixed style. In Soviet times the Church was closed, but in 1995 returned to the Russian Orthodox Church.Active restoration of the temple began in 2007. Were restored the refectory and the bell tower near the Church built the religious education center.
