Description
U Bein Bridge from the far distance in the sunset, Amarapura, Myanmar. The bridge crosses the Taungthaman lake and its length is 1.2 kilometres and is believed to be the oldest and longest teakwood in the world. The bridge is named after the mayor who built it. It is used as an important passageway for the local people and has also become a tourist attraction. Myanmar is geographically the largest country in Southeast Asia, which attracts many tourists each year.
