Hop Trefoil (Trifolium campestre) #72706786
Description
Trifolium campestre, commonly known as hop trefoil, field clover and low hop clover, is usually found in dry, sandy grassland habitats, as well as in fields, woodland margins, roadsides, wastelands and cultivated land, but is considered a weed when found growing in a garden's flowerbeds. It is not generally planted, but is considered a valuable herb when found growing in a pasture, because its foliage is good for feeding livestock and replenishing soil.
