This is a Summer picture of two of Chicago's most iconic building the Chicago Cultural Center and the Smurfit-Stone Building located along Michigan Avenue in Chicago, Illinois. The Chicago Cultural Center was designed by the architects Shepley, Rutan, and Coolidge, is an example of the Neo Classical style with Italian Renaissance elements, was originally the Chicago Library, was constructed in 1893. The Smurfit-Stone Building, today known as the Crain Building, was designed by A. Epstein and Sons, features a distinct diamond top,and was built in 1984. This picture was taken on June 17, 2016.
