Located in utah and stretching into colorado,new mexico and arizona,this culture emerged from the paleo/migrating people into a farming,building stationary civilization between 550-1300A.D. Along with Mesa Verde in colorado and Chaco canyon in new mexico,Hovenweep is one of the larger more intact sites in the 4 corners region of the late puebloean period.
