Vittorio Veneto square, Turin, Italy #74776126
Description
Created in the 19C, this square offers a superb view of the Turin hill, beyond the river, as it rolls down to the Pô river, which can be reached by going down towards the enormous Murazzi defence walls that date from the 19C. The walls are now home to trendy night-clubs and bars, much favoured by the city's night birds in summertime. Beyond the bridge built in honour of Victor-Emmanuel I, notice the Neoclassical facade of the Church of the Gran Madre. In the background you can see the Turin's hills. Photo taken on: June 7, 2016.
