Description
The bells in the belfry of an Orthodox Church. The bell percussion, and a signal instrument consisting of a hollow dome (sound source) and suspended along the axis of the dome language, exciting sound when it strikes the dome. The bell can hang or be fixed on a swinging base edges of the dome upwards; depending on design sound excited swing or dome (or rather, the grounds on which it is fixed), or language. In Western Europe, often rocking the dome in Russian ââ¬â the language that allows us to create very large bells (Tsar-Kolokol). Also known bell without a tongue, which hit the outside metal or wooden mallet. Usually the bell is made from the so-called bell of bronze, more rarely of iron, cast iron, silver, stone, terracotta and even glass.
